Fun while it lasts but overall a bit dissapointing. January 6, 2008
I was bought this game for christmas, im not really much of a gamer but I am a huge Mario fan so after reading the great reviews I couldnt wait to get started. I played for about 3 hours on christmas day was quite dissapointed, I was already on world 8!! the game is just way too short, the graphics are bright and fun but the level designed just seem a bit unimaginative the music isnt a patch on the previous marios eitherOverall its a good bit of a fun but not a patch on the previous 2d mario games and for me doesnt really live upto the great reviews.

This is a great game!! My son had it for his birthday and I keep pinching his DS and having ago! The main point is to rescue and women named Princess Peach and get star coins to unlock new levels. There is loads of things to do including 18 mini games which are really fun too. The best game I have ever played!!

This brought back memories of playing the original version back in the 80s…They’ve kept it almost exactly the same playing style as in the 80s, but obviously upgrading those old pixely graphics, and fine tuned the classic tune it plays in the background (doo doo da da, da da da daaaaa - the bit when you die!)Fantastic game, and definitely not just for children, and possibly the best DS game I’ve played so far. Would recommend it for anyone, especially girls, as alot of DS games are very bloke-orientated!

Super Mario Bros. is one of the most addictive games I own, with the mini games providing hours of entertainment whether you are playing on your own or against friends. With a storyline and goal typical of most Mario games, you get what you would expect- but this is a good thing! The game can be frustrating as it gets harder and harder, but it doesn’t spoil the fun and simply makes you more determined to carry on playing. The colourful graphics and familiar characters make it guaranteed fun for Mario fans of all ages
